In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

3 reasons to book
  • Central yet quiet location — A short walk from Gran Via, Banco de España metro, and Plaza de Cibeles, yet on a calmer street that keeps street noise out of the rooms.
  • Spacious, well-equipped rooms — Rooms feature parquet floors, soundproofing, and large bathrooms with both shower and bath. Guests call out the comfortable beds and quality toiletries.
  • Attentive, welcoming staff — Staff are described as friendly, discreet, and efficient, with a particular knack for remembering repeat guests.

Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Comfort rating below other categories — While rooms are praised in reviews, the comfort rating sits at 7.2, the lowest category score – worth noting if you're sensitive to mattress or pillow firmness.
  • Parking not on-site — The hotel offers parking but it appears to be managed nearby, with guests having to coordinate arrangements through staff rather than pulling up to a hotel garage.
  • General rating is modest — The overall guest rating of 8.3 is solid but not top-tier, with the general category scoring 7.7 – a sign that the experience may vary more than the room and service scores suggest.

“Excellent central spot. Both metro and airport express bus are within easy walking distance, as are Retiro Park and the Prado. Several nice restaurants nearby. The bathroom was especially spacious and beautiful, with both shower and bath, and well-stocked toiletries. Bed was comfortable with several pillows. Despite the busy streets, the room was completely quiet. Wi-Fi worked great and staff were helpful.”

“Perfect location, in a quiet area yet well connected to everything a tourist needs.”

“My regular Madrid hotel. It sits at the quiet end of Infantas, near the Chueca area, with easy access to Gran Via and Banco de España metros. Plenty of dining options from cheap local spots to trendy bistros. Staff are polite and friendly, though I mainly see them at check-in/out. Rooms and bathrooms are large, towels are good quality. The restaurant looks inviting even though I haven't tried it. Very happy here.”
